Recycling of used tires at the proposed installation is carried out by dry pyrolysis. The process takes place at a temperature of 500 degrees without access of air. The fuel used is not condensed gases. Waste car tires recycled as a whole, without pre-butchering. Tires are stacked in a working chamber of the reactor by singly.
After filling the working chambers, the temperature in the chamber rises to 500 degrees. When the temperature rises over 500 degrees, the water is injected into the chamber to stabilize the temperature. Turning into steam the water dilutes the products formed by the decomposition of rubber, and prevents the occurrence of secondary reactions with the formation of toxic substances. Furthermore, water vapor does not support combustion process and prevents the self-ignition of the received products. The process of decomposition of rubber is going on during an hour. Then, the water is injected into the working chamber to prevent the escape of pyrolysis gas in the environment and reducing the temperature to about 200 degrees. After that it is overlapped the valve on the outlet pipe of vaporous pyrolysis products. After the process of decomposition the cover of working chamber is opened and steel wires and solid wastes (coke) are pull out. The evaporated water is condensed and mixed with the received pyroliser. Hereinafter, this water helps to clean pyroliser from water-soluble salts, chlorides, ammonia , amines, oxygen- and sulfur-containing compounds , to produce high quality gasoline, diesel and oil fractions. Pallets are moved to places of accumulation of coke and wire for unloading. The received pyroliser is pumped into storage tanks for further treatment.
